The 12th of May 2025, we, the S4 class from FEDAC Castellar, took off from Barcelona airport to Gatwick in London to a new adventure, as our school trip consists of visiting two new cities in England, but instead of staying at a hotel, we stay with host families.
Then, we took a bus to the city where our host families were, in Brighton and in the afternoon we had a tour in Amex Stadium where Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club play.
During the first days, we visited the city, and it was very exciting and fun exploring it. We also tried Cream Tea, a traditional British dish.
On the third day, we went to London, so we took a train from Brighton and then a subway to finally get to London. There we visited the most famous places like: the London Eye, the Big Ben, St. James Park, Buckingham Palace, Oxford Street… For us, it was the best day of the trip, and we were so lucky that the weather was amazing too.
On the fourth day we went to Lewes, a small town near Brighton, where we visited Lewes Castle and had the typical Cream tea.
The fifth day we went to London again, but this time we visited the National History Museum and, in the afternoon, we saw Camden town, where we trained our abilities of negotiation.
On our last day we spent the day on the beach of Brighton playing volleyball and in the afternoon, a bus took us to the airport. There we waited for some time and played some board games. We finally got back to Barcelona, and we were very sad that the trip had ended, but we were also happy to finally see our parents after a long week.
